CAMERINO No. 42 Nine Inch Nails

On Thursday, April 3, 2014, Nine Inch Nails fulfilled the dreams of thousands and became the nightmare of some when they performed for the first and only time in Colombia during the fifth edition of the Estéreo Picnic Festival. The album Hesitation Marks was the excuse to see the Cleveland band in a show that was, above all, unforgettable.

The negotiations to bring Mr. Trent Reznor to Bogotá were arduous but successful. It would be NIN's first time in the country, and the technical rider included detailed specifications for every area. One highlight was the request to have a roadie throughout the entire show with a spotlight aimed at Reznor's face from a low angle, along the stage and from the Photo Pit. A mini-marathon that lasted almost 20 songs. And that "almost" is what they owe us: "Hurt." Power outages and constant pressure from Reznor's wife and then-manager, singer Mariqueen Maandig, made the evening unforgettable for the festival's technical team. In the end, many people's dreams came true, and the night became one of the FEP's most historic shows.
