It all started when Gabriel García, after seeing me sing one of Mon's songs at my school's closing ceremony, wrote to my dad to invite us to Estéreo Picnic.

No one could believe it: we didn't know who Gabriel was or if minors were allowed to attend the festival.

And on the day of the festival, the surprise was even greater: Gabriel wrote to us again and opened the door to the dressing rooms for us.

Meeting Mon Laferte in person, hearing her speak so simply, and feeling her warmth was a unique gift. For my dad, it was a dream come true to see me spend time with the artist he admired so much, and for me, it was the first time music took me to a special place.

And then came the concert. Being with my friends in the middle of the crowd, singing along to every song by Mon and Olivia Rodrigo, was the best thing in the world. My dad says it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, and I agree. Now I know what it means to experience a festival: music, friendship, and memories that last forever.
